99 Royale: Battle Royale Slots
Up to 99 players spin the same slot in one arena, attack each other with their wins and split a battle prize by finishing position. Launched 24 September 2026 and live at two UKGC-licensed casinos today.
99 Royale is the first slot format we have covered where the other players matter. A normal slot is you against the maths; a slot tournament is you against a leaderboard you never see move. In a 99 Royale battle the reels feed a fight: every win charges an attack, every attack lands on a named opponent, and the last players standing share the prize. G Games, the studio behind it, calls it a battle royale for slots and has patented the multiplayer layer underneath. We read 99royale.com, the studio’s own material and the two UK casinos that carry it on launch day, 24 September 2026, and this page is the plain-English version of what we found.

What 99 Royale is: 99 players, one arena, one battle prize
Strip the artwork away and 99 Royale is three things bolted together. The first is a slot: each hero is a real game with its own reels, paylines, volatility and return to player, and it can be spun on its own in solo mode. The second is an arena that holds up to 99 of those players at once, all spinning the same hero, with a countdown, a health bar, a target selector and knockouts. The third is a battle prize, a pot that every player in the arena contributes to and that is paid out by finishing position when the fight ends. Your spin results still pay as slot wins; what changes is that a big win also loads a powered attack you can fire at another player, and being hit by one costs you position.
G Games says the technology behind the arena is patented and that 99 Royale is the first slot in which competition between players happens in real time rather than on a leaderboard after the fact. Bally’s ran a public beta battle before launch that drew more than 5,000 players, which is the largest test of the format we have seen reported.
How a battle plays out, from the queue to the last spin standing
The studio’s own how-to-play runs to six steps and the casino pages repeat it almost word for word, so here it is in ours. You choose a hero first; there are three at launch and a new one is promised every month. You press play and join the queue, and while the arena fills you keep spinning the slot as normal, so the wait is not dead time. When enough players are in, a countdown runs and the fight starts; the countdown tells you when to begin spinning in earnest. From there every spin does two jobs: a win pays its slot value and charges your power, and you spend that power on attacks, either at the target the game has picked for you or at one you switch to yourself. Knockouts and big wins move you up the field into a stronger position, and when the battle ends the higher you finished, the larger your share of the battle prize. The studio’s own phrase for a top finish is a chicken dinner.
Two practical notes from the casino pages. The arena tile you pick on the casino’s 99 Royale page decides which hero you fight with, and the three tiles on launch day were Cherry Blossom, Ra the King and Ragnarok. And the jackpot line under the game stats on both All British Casino and Pub Casino still read “coming soon” on launch morning, so the battle prize is the only prize figure the game shows for now; we will add the jackpot number when the operators print it.
The three launch heroes and their published stats
Each hero page on 99royale.com prints two sets of figures, one for multiplayer mode and one for solo mode, and the multiplayer figure is the higher of the two, which we read as the battle prize contribution being counted inside the multiplayer return. These are the numbers as the studio publishes them on 24 September 2026; casinos can license a lower solo return, so check the game’s own info panel where you play.
| Hero | Theme | RTP multiplayer / solo | Volatility | Hit rate | Max win | Min bet | Layout |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ra the King | Egyptian, the Book of Power opens at sunrise | 96.52% / 94.06% | Medium | 37% | 5,000x | 0.10 | 5×3, 10 lines |
| Ragnarok | Viking, the battle at the end of time | 96.45% / 94.02% | High | 21% | 4,999x | 0.25 | 5×3, 25 lines |
| Cherry Blossom | Anime warrior with silver fans | 96.54% / 94.04% | High | 39% | 3,300x | 0.20 | 6×5, match 8 or more |
The stats also list feature odds and the odds of a 1,000x hit: Ra the King triggers a feature about once in 205 spins and a 1,000x result once in 520,000; Ragnarok once in 180 and once in 240,000; Cherry Blossom once in 284 and once in 170,000. In fighting terms, Ra is the steady pick, hitting often at medium volatility with the biggest ceiling; Ragnarok hits rarely but hard, which suits a player who wants one big attack rather than many small ones; Cherry Blossom is a cluster game with the highest hit rate of the three and the lowest top prize, so it charges attacks most often.
Side Missions and the Loot Crate: the 1.5% that funds the extras
Side Missions are the layer on top of the battle, and the studio is unusually open about how they are paid for: 1.5% of the game’s return is set aside to fund them. One mission is live at launch, the Loot Crate, with more than thirty planned across four tiers. The Loot Crate is a daily pot that rises in real time across every player on the network and can be won during any battle; each qualifying spin has a chance to trigger it, and that chance scales with your stake. The missions on the roadmap are the kind you would expect from a video game rather than a casino: Fatality for your first knockout, Assassin for one, five and ten accumulated knockouts, Lucky Drop as a global race where the first to claim wins, and later titles, badges, cosmetics, seasonal events that run across operators and a World Series.
Launch day, a new hero every month and what comes after
99 Royale went live on 24 September 2026; both UK casinos printed “after 10am” for the switch-on and both had the arena open when we checked at 10:20 UTC. The studio’s roadmap is one new hero a month after launch, and it has already shown the next three: Swaghorn, a dwarven hoard on an emerald isle where the rainbow ends; Lord of the Jungle, an armoured elephant hunting gold in the deadlands beyond a ruined Vegas; and Bonnie and Clyde, a road trip to Vegas with the law behind them. The homepage’s top-five board already shows Lord of the Jungle and Swaghorn beside the three launch heroes, which suggests they are further along in testing than the “coming soon” tags imply. Missions will grow from one to thirty-plus on the same monthly cadence.
Where UK players can play 99 Royale today
Two of the L&L Europe casinos we review carry 99 Royale from day one, both with a 99Royale item in the main navigation and a dedicated page with the three arena tiles. Both are licensed by the Gambling Commission under licence 38758 and both are UK-only brands. The sister sites Yeti Casino, Fun Casino and Hyper Casino did not have a 99 Royale page when we checked on 22 and 24 September 2026, so the two below are the whole list for now.
All British Casino is the older of the two and the one with the better standing offer: 100 cash spins on Le Bandit for a first deposit of £10 wagered once, winnings paid as cash with no wagering and a 48-hour life on the spins, plus 10% cashback for life on deposits played without a bonus. Its 99 Royale page leads with Ragnarok. Our All British Casino review has the full terms. Play 99 Royale at All British CasinoAd
AdPub Casino is the newest L&L brand and gives 99 Royale the same treatment, with Cherry Blossom on the banner. Its welcome offer is 50 cash spins on Octobeer Fortunes for a £10 deposit and wager, winnings paid as cash, and it runs the group’s cashback service. Details in our Pub Casino review. Play 99 Royale at Pub CasinoAd
AdBoth casinos run the same bonus rulebook: welcome cash spins are paid as money, any bonus balance carries 10x wagering with a £2 maximum bet, and bonus funds cannot be used in the live casino or sportsbook. Nothing on either 99 Royale page says the arena is excluded from bonus play, but nothing says it is included either, so if you are on a bonus balance, check the game’s contribution before you queue.
99 Royale against a slot tournament: what changes
We keep a separate page on slot tournaments, and the two formats are easy to confuse because both put a prize pool behind a slot. The differences are structural. A tournament is asynchronous: you play your spins in a window, a leaderboard ranks everyone by wins or by multiplier, and nobody’s play touches anybody else’s. A 99 Royale battle is synchronous: the same 99 players are in the arena at the same time, your win becomes an attack on a named player, and their attack can knock you down the order. A tournament prize is fixed by the operator; a battle prize is built from the players in the room. And a tournament needs an entry ticket or a buy-in, while 99 Royale is entered simply by choosing a hero and pressing play, which makes the queue rather than a schedule the thing you wait for.
Who else has signed up for it
The two UK casinos above are where our readers can play today, but the operator list around 99 Royale is the reason we expect the format to spread. Trade press in June and July 2026 reported bet365 and Casumo as platinum launch partners, Skillonnet as a third, and Lottoland and Midnite as further signings, and Bally’s ran the pre-launch beta. That is a broad enough base that a shared World Series across operators, which the studio has put on its roadmap, is plausible rather than a slogan. We will add casinos to the list above as they go live for UK players.
Questions people ask about 99 Royale
Is 99 Royale a slot or a tournament?
Both, in one game. Each hero is a normal slot with published RTP and volatility, and the arena on top is a live 99-player fight for a battle prize. Solo mode is the slot alone; multiplayer mode adds the battle.
What is the 99 Royale RTP?
On 24 September 2026 the studio listed 96.52% multiplayer and 94.06% solo for Ra the King, 96.45% and 94.02% for Ragnarok, and 96.54% and 94.04% for Cherry Blossom. A further 1.5% of return funds the Side Missions.
Which UK casinos have 99 Royale?
All British Casino and Pub Casino from launch day. Yeti, Fun and Hyper, the other L&L Europe brands, did not carry it on 24 September 2026. bet365, Casumo, Skillonnet, Lottoland and Midnite have been announced as partners.
Can I play 99 Royale for free?
Not at the casinos above, where the arena is a real-money game. 99royale.com invites people to sign up for play tests, which is the only free route the studio has published.
How do I win a battle?
Finish as high as you can. Wins charge attacks, attacks and big wins earn knockouts and move you up the field, and the battle prize is shared by finishing position when the fight ends.
Who makes 99 Royale?
G Games, on multiplayer slot technology it says is patented. New heroes are due monthly after the September 2026 launch.
