Policy last reviewed 29 August 2026.
Snazzyslots promotes only licensed South African betting operators to South African visitors. That is the whole policy, and this page explains exactly what it means and how we hold ourselves to it.
What counts as licensed
South African bookmakers are licensed by provincial authorities under the National Gambling Act framework. Before any operator appears in our South African section, we confirm it holds a current bookmaker licence from one of the nine provincial licensing authorities, such as the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator, the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board or the Eastern Cape Gambling Board. An international licence, however reputable, does not qualify a brand for our South African pages.
How we verify a licence
We do not take licence claims from third parties. We read the operator’s own published legal notice and record the licence number, the issuing authority and the issue date exactly as stated there, and we date every check. Those details appear on each brand’s pages: as one example, Lucky Fish is operated by Race Coast Western Cape (Pty) Ltd and holds bookmaker licences from the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator (9-2-1-09838), the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board (10192071-003) and the Eastern Cape Gambling Board (ECBM 012-01), and ApexBets holds Western Cape licence 10194002-001. When a review is updated, its licence details are re-checked. If we cannot verify a licence, the brand does not appear. There is no exception to this.
Why South African visitors only see South African operators
Our South African section is kept separate from the rest of Snazzyslots, and visitors browsing from South Africa are directed to it. The point is simple: a South African player following our links should only ever land on an operator that is licensed to serve them. The offers, terms and payment methods we describe in this section are the South African ones, verified against the operator’s own pages.
Responsible gambling
No persons under 18 may gamble. Winners know when to stop. If gambling is causing you or someone close to you harm, the National Responsible Gambling Programme offers free counselling on 0800 006 008, or WhatsApp HELP to 076 675 0710, and more at responsiblegambling.org.za.
What we never do
We never link South African visitors to unlicensed or offshore gambling sites, we never present an offer without its material terms, and we never publish a licence claim we have not read in the operator’s own legal notice. Every South African brand page carries its licence details in the verification strip at the top, which links back to this policy.
You can see the policy applied on our South African homepage and verified free spins page.
